Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Science from the University of Illinois and he is a Certified Forester by the Society of American Foresters.  

With over three decades of experience in the fields of forestry, urban forestry, habitat stewardship, and environmental services, Joe brings a wealth of expertise to the team at Forest & Habitat Professionals LLC.

After completing an internship with Forest & Habitat Professionals, Michael joined us as a financial and data analyst.  His capstone project resulted in a  financial analysis report for a client property, that he then presented  at the 2023 Society of American Foresters National Convention.

Michael is nearing completion of a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems, from Washington State University and is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.  

He is our in-house expert in both financial analysis and data analytics, specializing in ArcGIS.  

He is also co-owner of a small business, DARS LLC (Data Analytics and Remote Sensing) which provides imagery acquisition and  analysis services for our clients as well as other customers in the forestry and agriculture sectors.
